This is Jon here.
I’ve been helping out at The Anti Tourist for a little while and with the new site and thought I’d take a second to introduce myself.
I grew up in Cleveland, Ohio and now reside in Austin, Texas.
In less than a week I will be biking over 2500 miles to San Francisco.

Going on a bike tour has always been a long dream of mine. I have been biking as long as I can remember.
When everyone was learning how to drive, my dad offered me a choice; he’d go half on a shitty car or I could get a new bike. I chose the bike and have never looked back.
I love to share my love of biking with others every chance I can. This trip will allow me to explore parts of the country I have never seen before, push myself to new limits, and meet some great folks along the way. I’ll be posting updates regularly on Facebook and The Anti Tourist to share the experience with all of you as often as I can.
